Another 64 forecasted DRS Round 3 notices arrived on grants.gov yesterday.

The states with competitive service areas in the second part of this release included: Alabama (3), Arkansas (3), Florida (7), Georgia (4), Illinois (6), Indiana (2), Louisiana (10), Michigan (2), Minnesota (1), Mississippi (3), North Carolina (3), New Mexic0 (1), Ohio (3), South Carolina (2), Tennessee (1), and Texas (13).

Although they were released a day later (9/24/14), they have the same due date (11/24/14).

So, what’s left?

You’ll recall that on or before February 5, 2014, 103 grantees were informed that they were going to need to compete.  With 32 service areas released in part one of Round 3 and 64 in part two, you’d think that leaves 7 grantees from the original list.  However…

The original list, the forecast and the number of live FOAs (as of the morning of 9/25/14) don’t exactly line up. That may be because the 103 list was grantees and the forecasts and FOAs are based on service area. As we’ve been tracking, it looks like this:

3 service areas (forecasted)
