With the growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in recent years, and the prevalence of generative AI in the workplace, we think it is important to share with you how we do and do not use these tools. With that in mind, we developed a Statement on Artificial Intelligence. The statement is posted to the Foundations for Families website and is included below.
Our Commitment
The consulting services of Foundations for Families are built on the strategic thinking and expertise of our team members. We value high-quality consulting, research, reports, and technical support that is prepared with integrity and attention to detail. Our team does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) or generative AI to replace or attempt to replicate the human thinking that is done within our organization. Our writing, analysis, and strategizing are our own and customized to meet the needs of each client. We will continue to explore ways to leverage AI for efficiency purposes – like collecting publicly available data – in an effort to lower costs for our clients
Our Ask
We request that clients and users of our materials please not put our work into AI or share it with any source for large language learning models (e.g., ChatGPT). This helps to protect the thought and resources that go into our work. We also respect the privacy of your data and will not put any program or services data that is shared with us into AI systems.
While we acknowledge AI is increasingly at the forefront of workforce discussions, we deeply value relationship-driven work and the impact that comes from human collaboration.
We appreciate you taking the time to read our statement. If you have any questions about our position related to AI or would like to discuss, please be in touch.
Thank you.
