Survey Preparation:

After gathering your records, this survey may take up to two hours to complete, depending on the number of employees at your organization.

Prior to beginning the survey, we recommend that you gather all employee records that match the Benchmark Positions Guide. We will be gathering benefit and salary information for all the positions listed in this guide. Because organizations participating in this study are not all the same size and do not provide the same types of services, we do not expect your organization will have every position in this list.

To align your organization chart to the Benchmark Positions, it may be helpful to complete the Benchmark Positions Worksheet. This sample organizational chart and benchmark worksheet provides further direction on how organizations might map their positions to the Benchmark Positions Guide.

You may also find the Employee Profile Guide helpful in collecting data for each group of employees in a Benchmark Position.
