Community Assessment and Wage Benefit Comparability Study for Quality Operations, Risk Mitigation, Staff Retention and Possible Conversion

Wednesday 9/21, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM ET

Community Assessment and Wage Studies remain critical! ACF-PI-HS-21-04 states, “grantees should update their community assessments…” and ACF-IM-HS-22-04 notes, “a program’s wage comparability study” can justify financial incentives. These reports can support quality program operations, mitigate risk, support retention efforts, and provide evidence you should you want to convert enrollment slots.

Foundations for Families assisted with a Community Assessment and DRS Grant Writing

I highly recommend FFF for any grantee. The services you provided were beyond what I could have imagined as a new program director.

If I can use adjectives to describe your company it would be…transparent, positive, encouraging, experts, and efficient.

Foundations for Families assisted with a Community Assessment and DRS application

Grant writing exceeded our expectations.

We also developed internal capacity through the modeling and coaching provided by Foundations for Families. We have an excellent DRS application.

Foundations for Families removed the anxiety from the process. Your approach was strengths-based. This helped us focus on the positive components of our program.

Executive Director, Community Action of Eastern Iowa

Foundations for Families assisted with a grant application

The knowledge-level and support provided by the Foundation for Families team was exceptional. Our Expansion application was successful, resulting in an additional 104 children in Douglas County being served.

Additionally, I feel like we strengthened our own knowledge of HSPPS and Head Start values throughout both processes, which will have a lasting impact on all of the work we do.

The FFF team has great knowledge and expertise, is highly organized, and communicates effectively. As a result, our products were of a much higher caliber than they would have been otherwise.

I also appreciate the overall guidance and strategic counsel that was provided thought both application processes. It offered tremendous value-added. The process of preparing a DRS application for the first time is very anxiety-provoking for everyone involved and the FFF team did a good job of helping us managing that and keep our eye on the ball!
