Preparing for EHS-CCP

Foundations for Families can help you prepare for future EHS-CCP competitions.

As the longer lasting impacts of COVID become evident, additional competitive funding opportunities are expected from OHS in 2021 and 2022 to support communities in need. Since each round of EHS Expansion and EHS-CCP has become increasingly competitive, we recommend planning ahead for development of a successful application. Now is a good time to start!

Collecting recent and relevant data – particularly the impacts of COVID in your community – will be a cornerstone in developing a program and budget to support families’ current and expected needs.

Our team has supported successful EHS Expansion and EHS-CCP applications in every round of the initiative to date. Learn more about our community assessment and grant writing services, or contact us to find out how we can help your agency.

The knowledge-level and support provided by the Foundation for Families team was exceptional. Our Expansion application was successful, resulting in an additional 104 children in Douglas County being served.

Additionally, I feel like we strengthened our own knowledge of HSPPS and Head Start values throughout both processes, which will have a lasting impact on all of the work we do.

The FFF team has great knowledge and expertise, is highly organized, and communicates effectively. As a result, our products were of a much higher caliber than they would have been otherwise.

FFF helped us stay on timeline and get tasks accomplished. Having their assistance, we were able to stay focused on each task at hand and actually were able to finish ahead of the proposed timeline.
