Foundations for Families led the organizational capacity assessment of a group of unlikely collaborators forming a new, dynamic, multi-agency alliance to successfully compete for $12 million expanded Zero to 5 Early/Head Start program in DRS Round 2. We facilitated decisions for a grantee relinquishing their longstanding Head Start contract to the new collaboration. For the next several years, Foundations for Families developed start-up plans and provided implementation technical assistance for Birth to Five and EHS programs and, subsequently, EHS CCP Round 1. Foundations for Families developed formal collaborative leadership systems and provided comprehensive grant writing for expansion under EHS-CCP.
