This week, hundreds of DRS grant competitions are coming to a close. Proposals for most of the DRS Round 8 grant competitions were due on November 12 and others are due later this month and in early December. Congratulations to all who successfully submitted an application!

The Office of Head Start (OHS) wasted no time! Today, 12 more grant competitions opened (listed below): one Early Head Start Expansion and Early Head Start – Child Care Partnership (EHS-CCP) grant, one Migrant and Seasonal Head Start grant, and ten Head Start/Early Head Start grants. The due date for applications is January 13, 2020 and Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) can be found on ACF’s Grants & Funding Opportunities website.

  • Head Start and/or Early Head Start Grantee – Burlington County, New Jersey
  • Head Start and/or Early Head Start Grantee – Butts, Henry, Lamar, Newton, Pike, Spalding and Upson Counties, Georgia
  • Head Start and/or Early Head Start Grantee – Cape Cod and the Islands, and the Town of Wareham, Massachusetts
  • Head Start and/or Early Head Start Grantee – Clinton, Eaton, Ingham and Shiawassee Counties, Michigan
  • Head Start and/or Early Head Start Grantee – Dekalb and Rockdale Counties, Georgia
  • Head Start and/or Early Head Start Grantee – Dubuque, Delaware and Jackson Counties, Iowa
  • Head Start and/or Early Head Start Grantee – Hendricks, Morgan and Owen Counties, Indiana
  • Head Start and/or Early Head Start Grantee – Lafayette, Iberia and St. Martin Parishes, Louisiana
  • Head Start and/or Early Head Start Grantee – Oneida and Herkimer Counties, New York
  • Head Start and/or Early Head Start Grantee – Sumter County, South Carolina
  • Early Head Start Expansion and Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership Grants – Rutherford, Williamson, Cheatham, Robertson, Sumner, Trousdale, Wilson and Cannon Counties, Tennessee
  • Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Grantee – States of Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Texas, Oklahoma, Nevada, Colorado and New Mexico
