As you get ready to head out of the office for Thanksgiving there may be one more item to check off on your to do list –
This week there was an important email alert from grants.gov, and we want to make sure you didn’t miss it! If you’re waiting for a forecasted Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) to post to grants.gov you may have entered your email address on grants.gov so that you’ll receive a notification if the forecast is updated. That subscription feature has changed and now you’ll need to set up an account (if you don’t already have one) to receive updates about the grant opportunity. This is especially important if you’re waiting for one of the FOAs as part of DRS Round 6 (expected to post December 4, 2017). Make sure to set up an account and update your subscription so that you continue to receive notifications about the FOA. Once you log in and find your grant opportunity you’ll see a red button, “Subscribe to Opportunity.” Simple enough, and you can follow multiple grant opportunities!
Check out the other subscription enhancements described on grants.gov. It seems like there are new user-friendly ways to follow grant opportunities and receive updates about saved searches.
