Linda     GSS

Gwynne and Linda are in Atlanta this week at the Region IV Head Start Association Leadership Summit.

Today, Linda presented “Building the Business Capacity of Child Care Partners for Success in EHS/HS”. Her popular training covered typical business practices and challenges in the child care industry. She introduced the Iron Triangle Approach to budgeting and finance and the shared services concept as possible remedies to close the ever-present gap between typical revenues and expenses in quality programs.

Participants learned how to build the business capacity of child care center partners by implementing the Iron Triangle and exploring and supporting shared services. You can download her presentation, here.

Tomorrow Linda will hold a presentation on “Contracting vs. Partnering: Early Head Start Child Care Partnerships Roles”.   Her presentation will be posted at that time.

In addition, Gwynne will offer an information session called “Are You in DRS? A Competitive and Comprehensive Application is Key to Your Success!” She will discuss logistics, win themes, and offer insight to agencies in DRS Round 4.

Whether you are able to attend the sessions or not, Gwynne and Linda would love to connect!

Thank you.
