On Wednesday, the White House issued an interesting press release.

Seems there will be a White House summit on Early Education and that the President will announce the states and communities that have won the $500 million in Early Head Start Child Care Partnerships awards.
According to the release, he will announce the winners of $250 million in Preschool Development Grants and outline new private sector commitments to early learning opportunities.
Quite an ambitious initial notification/negotiation/official award letter timeline…
