Take advantage! Inspired by the Artful Parent, we suggest you find sand toys or various Tupperware containers, mix up some colored water and make ice sculptures.

So many opportunities to mix, pour and name colors. This could start as an adult-supervised, morning center activity. Depending on your freezer capabilities maybe the molds freeze during lunch/nap or maybe they are ready the next day.

Whether you reveal them in your snow covered play yard or choose to introduce them to your sensory table, we guarantee delight and fascination as the children inspect the frozen shapes they helped create.
